Senior high

The senior high youth community is active at St. John's with weekly ministries, regular activities in service and life-changing mission trips, and leadership opportunities. Our mission is to form small Christian communities of senior high youth and caring adults who will be known, cared for, held accountable, and connected in Christian fellowship as they grow closer to God in faith through word, prayer, and service.

Work Camp Mission Trip

St. John’s youth and friends take part in Work Camp, a week-long mission trip in which youth repair homes for people in need and experience the amazing power of God through service, prayer, and community. St. John's has participated in Group Work Camp since 2001 and has traveled all over the country serving those in need. Work Camp is open to all current 8th grade through 12th grade youth and adults, 21 years of age or older. Each participant is asked to participate in fundraisers and monthly meetings in order to prepare for this life-changing mission. Contact Katie for more information.

Lock-ins, retreats, missions, and more

Senior high youth participate in many different additional acitivities throughout the year. Contact Katie to be included on the e-mail list for updated information on these exciting opportunities.

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a Family Ministries program that recognizes critical faith development stages in a child’s life. It provides faith-based child and parent education from baptism to graduation through a series of stepping stones. At these critical stages we, as the body of Christ, come alongside parents to offer teaching, support, and encouragement.
